WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As Edge Delta’s Director of Sales Development in EMEA, you are responsible for the management of overall inbound business development and outbound prospecting pipeline building strategy and execution by leading the other Managers of Sales Development. You’ll work closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to devise the best tactics to increase demand generation and set weekly and monthly KPIs. This is a highly strategic role where you’re able to have control over business decisions for the most important aspect of Edge Delta’s inbound and outbound prospecting pipeline build.

This role is a unique opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to high visibility, high impact projects in a fast growing segment of our business. This role will report directly to Edge Delta’s Head of Sales.

  • Manage the execution of the overall strategy for obtaining more inbound and outbound prospecting pipeline in EMEA
  • Align with marketing and sales leaders and teams to strategically and predictably fill pipeline with qualified prospects and customers for their territories
  • Ensure the sales development KPIs are being hit on a monthly basis by conducting regular assessment of progress regarding weekly and monthly forecasts
  • Responsible for coaching and training the SDR talent track by monitoring people in line for promotion and enabling others to progress in their career
  • Effectively lead managers to exceed their team goals and pipeline
  • Work strategically with Marketing to create prospecting campaigns
  • Build and manage a team of Outbound SDRs selling solutions
  • Manage and coordinate the tactical and strategic direction of sales development representatives engaged in promoting Edge Delta
  • Upgrade current sales techniques or procedures based on team performance
  • Achieve pipeline creation at or above stated quota and goals
  • Monitor, support and coach sales development representatives with cold calling, prospecting, follow-up calls and booking meetings
  • Conduct performance management reviews to ensure direct reports are developing and that goals and expectations are aligned

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 4+ years formal sales experience building and leading high performance sales team
  • Based in UK&I
  • High career trajectory and potential
  • Someone with experience in a start-up environment
  • Consistent overachievement in previous roles
  • Significant Enterprise Sales and strategic customer development experience.
  • History of accurate forecasting and business reporting
  • Experience in working with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn and other sales oriented tracking tools
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environment
  • BA/BS required
