Inala Indigenous Health Service are looking for a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist (Paediatrics) to join their team. In accordance with the philosophy of the Metro South Hospital and Health Service (MSHHS), the successful candidate will provide high quality specialist paediatric care to babies, children and their families.

About The Role
This role provides and maintains efficient and culturally appropriate primary care medical services in the Southern Queensland Centre of Excellence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
- Manage all aspects of Community Based Care of babies and children, utilising evidence based principles.
- Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives.
- Provision of evidence-based, high quality, culturally appropriate clinical care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within a Community based Medical practice.
- Complete complex clinical tasks with a high degree of professional independence.
- Provide for the development and provision of family centred care, working collaboratively with our GP, Nurses and Allied Health Clinicians.
- Provide clinical leadership to all staff participating in multidisciplinary teams.
